THE UNSEEN LANDSCAPE

These photographs are created using a camera modified to ‘see’ infrared light. Light within the Infrared spectrum is invisible to the human eye. The camera can record the reflected levels of infrared creating strange colour casts. These particular images are converted to black and white. Greens become shades of white and colours at the blue (ultra violet) end of the spectrum reflect less infrared and so are rendered greys and blacks.

LOOSE IMPRESSIONS

These photographs are captured using various photographic techniques to create impressionistic images of woodland. The pictures represent a ethereal interpretation of the valley.

LOOSE FLORA

The flora within the Loose valley and surrounding countryside is common to most areas of Kent and the South East. The photographer has endeavoured to represent some of the varied species with ‘artistic’ interpretation.
